Successful Goalkeeper Coach of Team Germany

Now since October, 2004 Andy Köpke is back with the German football-national team. His task: Goalkeeper Coach in the trainer's team Joachim Löw, Hans-Dieter Flick (assistance trainer) and manager Oliver Bierhoff.

His main focus in the stick of Jürgen Klinsmann lay during two years in the immediate world championship preparation of the goalkeepers of the German football-national team: Jens Lehmann, Oliver Kahn and Timo Hildebrand. They count for many years to the world point and stand at home and abroad under quite special Focus.

Today, beyond it, he also perceives tasks for the Perspektivspieler of the A soccer national team as well as the Keeper of the U21 choice. The EURO extended his contract with the German Football Association in August, 2006 by other two years Andy Köpke up to final in 2008.
